This site runs on a server of Hetzner Online GmbH, Industriestr. 25, 91710 Gunzenhausen, in a data centre in Germany. Hetzner processes the data solely on my behalf pursuant to Art. 28 GDPR.

When this site is requested, the usual access data arises on the server: IP address, timestamp, requested address, amount of data transferred, browser identification. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR — my legitimate interest in secure and functioning operation. This data is not combined with other sources.

Behind /architektur there is a password-protected area. For every sign-in attempt, IP address, browser identification, timestamp and outcome are logged, as is the IP address for limiting the number of attempts. This protects against automated password guessing; the legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. These entries are deleted automatically after 90 days.

Two cookies occur, both strictly necessary and therefore exempt from consent under § 25 (2) TDDDG: one remembers your language choice, the other is created only when you sign in to the protected area and holds the session. There are no advertising or analytics cookies, which is why you will find no consent dialogue here.

The fonts used are stored on this server and delivered from there. Your browser makes no request to Google or any other third party for them.

This site embeds no analytics tool, no tracking pixel and no advertising network. No profiling and no automated decision-making take place.

If you write to me, I process your details in order to reply. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR where a contract is being initiated, otherwise Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. My mailbox is operated by Fastmail Pty Ltd; processing also takes place in the United States. I keep your message for as long as handling it requires, and beyond that only where statutory retention periods demand it.

You have the right to access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and to object to processing based on legitimate interests. Please use the address given above.
